sincere ceremonies -
creating ceremonies that matter

heartfelt, meaningful ceremonies for farewells, weddings, and life’s transitions -
crafted with sincerity  because they matter

with you when it matters most

Karen Brady, an independent celebrant based in Melbourne's west, is dedicated to creating ceremonies that truly matter. Grounded in empathy and authenticity, Karen believes ritual gives shape to our deepest emotions, helping us to express them in ways words alone cannot.

Her ceremonies are inclusive and deeply personal Whether they mark a farewell, a wedding or another life transition, every element, from the words spoken to the symbols used, are chosen with care to reflect the people at the heart of the moment.

the birth of sincere ceremonies...

After my mother died, I realised how little I knew about planning a funeral. I wanted to change that, so I dove deep - I studied, I learned and I explored. Sincere Ceremonies grew from that journey.

 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"From the moment we met Karen, we knew she was the right celebrant for our family. She is warm, compassionate, caring, humorous, and incredibly talented. The funeral service she created for my mum was nothing short of phenomenal, beautifully thoughtful and more meaningful than we could have ever imagined. Karen truly took the time to understand us and honour my mum’s life in a deeply personal way. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a funeral celebrant who brings heart, dignity, and a touch of lightness to a difficult time."

"Thank you so much Karen for an absolutely amazing service. I got lucky with such a wonderful celebrant. I couldn't have got through it without your guidance and your help. You were able to decipher what I wanted to get out, and you did that beautifully. I was so happy with the service, thank you so much."

"The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At late or early hour.
...
The present only is our own,

So live, love, toil with a will,
Place no faith in ‘Tomorrow’,
For the Clock may then be still"
