sincere ceremonies -
creating ceremonies that matter

heartfelt, meaningful ceremonies for farewells, weddings, and life’s transitions -
crafted with sincerity,  because they matter

with you when it matters most

Karen Brady, an independent celebrant based in Melbourne's west, is dedicated to creating ceremonies that truly matter. Grounded in empathy and authenticity, Karen believes ritual gives shape to our deepest emotions, helping us to express them in ways words alone cannot.

Her ceremonies are inclusive and deeply personal. Whether they mark a farewell, a wedding or another life transition, every element, from the words spoken to the symbols used, are chosen with intention.

Karen offers the following services:

the birth of sincere ceremonies...

After my mother died, I realised how little I knew about planning a funeral. I wanted to change that, so I dove deep - studied, learned, explored, and have been fortunate enough to meet some incredible people along the way.

Sincere Ceremonies continues to grow everyday as part of that journey.

"The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At late or early hour.
...
The present only is our own,

So live, love, toil with a will,
Place no faith in ‘Tomorrow’,
For the Clock may then be still"

Sincere Ceremonies are held on the unceded lands of the Kulin Nation. I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of this land. I honour their enduring connection to Country, recognising they were the first, and continue to be, the most enduring storytellers, artists, communities and creators of culture. I pay my respects to their Ancestors and their descendants who maintain cultural and spiritual connections to this day.
