funerals, rituals &
other ceremonies that matter

Every life is unique, no two journeys the same. As a funeral celebrant I will help you find the words, symbols and gestures that hold meaning to craft ceremonies that are authentic, significant and truly matter.

As more families choose direct cremation I can also help you create a ceremony in your own time and in your own way.

Whether you're seeking guidance, hands-on planning or simply someone to walk beside you, I am here to help,

I Offer:

authentic and personal preparation & planning

Collaborative, respectful support to shape a ceremony that reflects the life, beliefs, and wishes of your person.

ceremony after cremation

I offer gentle, creative support to shape ceremony after cremation: in a home, a garden, or anywhere that feels right. These personal gatherings can include music, ritual, readings, tributes — or simply shared presence. Whether a direct cremation has already taken place or you’re planning ahead, it’s never too soon - or too late for a ceremony that matters.

family-led funerals

For those who wish to lead their own ceremony: guidance, resources, and behind-the-scenes support, contact me directly or visit the Australian Home Funeral Alliance (AHFA) Website using the link below.

There is no “right” way to grieve, but there is deep value in pausing to remember, reflect, and say goodbye.

Alongside my work as a funeral celebrant, I also offer related services that support individuals and families in exploring the deeper meaning of life’s transitions and the and choices around death, dying, and remembrance.

ritual design

Ritual gives shape to emotion. It helps us express what is often beyond words, whether that’s love, grief, gratitude, or release.

I create bespoke rituals that draw from both traditional wisdom and modern meaning, designed to mark life’s transitions. A thoughtfully created ritual for life, loss or renewal can bring presence, connection, and healing.

'rite of passage' ceremonies

A rite of passage marks a threshold - the crossing from one chapter of life into another. In funerals, it might mean acknowledging the shift from life to death, or from the rawness of loss toward a new relationship with memory. But rites of passage extend beyond death: they can honour retirement, a move, the end of a relationship, or any moment of profound personal change.

I design ceremonies that respond to these turning points, blending contemporary meaning with the depth of traditional forms. Each rite of passage offers space to pause, reflect, and acknowledge change, individually or together, in ways that help us feel grounded and deeply human.

death literacy

Gentle, accessible education and conversation to help you understand your rights, your choices, and the many possibilities around death and dying.

These offerings are flexible and responsive to your needs.

"Grief doesn't mean we're left with nothing.
It means we carry forward everything-
their laughter, their passions, their joy.
We become the living continuation of their story.
Their light now shines through us,
keeping them alive in the world.
Their love endures,
not fading but fueling,
everything we do
moving forward."
